Memorial Bench Dedication
A memory bench was dedicated at 6 pm on June 10, 2002 at Ware County Middle School (our former high school).
Lee Barnes welcomed everyone and had prayer.
Bobby Wright called names of deceased.
Darlene Henderson Tuten & Susan Jordan Russell gave a rose with green and gold ribbon to each family.
We moved to the flag pole area where Kathy Taylor Ganas, Chairman of Ware County Board of Education (and alumni of 1975 class) presented bench to Dr. Nancy Howard, principal of Ware County Middle School (our former high school).,
John Russell, son of alumni Susan Jordan Russell and Henry Russell, concluded dedication with playing "Amazing Grace" on the trumpet.
Dr. Howard invited all to tour the newly renovated school.
A total of 31 was present (15 alumni and 16 guests).
